I remember when I was a 14 and I went to a youth rally in Harrisburg, PA. The preaching and teaching were awesome and I made real decisions concerning my purity. I made a commitment to stay pure both in body and mind. The decision was the easy part. However, the days to follow proved to be the challenge. That is why it so important to stick with the 30 Day Challenge until the end. I remember my youth pastor getting with us every week and having a real discussion about where we were with our commitments. Let me encourage you to get together (guys with guys and girls with girls) and keep one another accountable in your walk with God. I remember a group of about four of us guys who would talk weekly about how God was working in our lives and where we were weak in our walk. Let’s build our lives in a team effort to live for God with our parents and friends. Use those around you to help strengthen you as “iron sharpening iron” (see Proverbs 27:17).
Make it a goal to create a strong support group around you. Choose those who desire to live for God to help hold you accountable. Get with your parents and express your desire for help and guidance in the area of purity in your life.
Finally look to always influence those around you for God. Bring others into your circle and look to be a help to them.
I know that God is going to do great things in your life as you allow Him to work. Continue to take a stand and live for Him. We are praying for you daily.
